I’m Mitch Romney (he/him). Since I was very young, I’ve been inspired by the drums and what people can do with them. Inspiring and uplifting others with my music has always been my goal.
My musical identity is the result of my unique musical journey. West African drumming, punk rock and its many sub-genres, jazz, funk, afro-cuban styles, orchestral and choral music, hip hop, and electronic styles all have a special place in my heart and hands.

UT pop star Beeson recently released her debut EP Last Shot and moved to LA. Her song I Haven’t Seen You Since the Summer (featuring yours truly on drums) is close to 1 million streams on Spotify.

I’ve also worked the last seven years as a contemporary dance accompanist and love to make music for movement.
I’ve shared the stage with a growing number of wonderful performers including Mattie June, Natalie Weiss, Joey Contreras, Nestor Torres, Colbie Caillat, and Pavel Nuñez, not to mention amazing local musicians and bands like Cayson Renshaw, Famous Friends, Paint the Woods, Kin Lodge, Melancholy Club, and more. I’ve toured internationally to Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, and Cuba.
